SUMMARY
AMOT, founded in 1948, is a leading global manufacturer of control, safety and hazardous area solutions for engines, compressors, turbines and other rotating equipment in the oil and gas, marine, power generation and transportation industries. Our product families include valves, electric and pneumatic instrumentation, control and condition monitoring systems and hazardous area safety products. AMOT operates as a unit of Indicor Group.
We are seeking a professional Sales Engineer who will facilitate the growth of some of our recent product developments and will prospect for new opportunities on Diesel Engines/Turbine/Compressors. This position will require a minimum of 50% travel in APAC.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Improve territory coverage by establishing relationships with new and existing customers.
- Market products through customer visits, sales presentation, seminars and exhibitions.
- Understand the customer's needs, coordinate activities to meet these needs and generate sales.
- Price and contract negotiation, to achieve sales targets
- Reach out to new customers and establish new accounts.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years of experience in account management, technical sales, project management or equivalent is desired.
- Experience of selling to Engine OEM’s, Packagers will be preferred.
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in engineering, business (or equivalent) from an accredited institution is a plus.
- Fluently oral and written English
TRAVEL:
50%,majority in APAC, including China, Japan, Korea and other APAC countries.
